Two-Roller Continuous Calibration Process by Compression for Submarine Pipelines

Submarine pipeline is a key part in the development of deep sea and ultra-deep oil gas. In order to reduce ovality pipes improve their compressive strength, two-roller continuous calibration (TRCC) process by compression proposed. A springback analysis compress bending carried out, an analytical model established, which predicts after provides theoretical basis for roller shape design parameter formulation. Numerical simulation physical experiments are out. The distribution stress strain analyzed. effects initial ovality, reduction ratio placement angle on studied. When about 1%, optimal. shows that 0.03%, numerical experiment less than 0.45%, proving feasibility process.
